Upgrading from Fibre 150 to Fibre 250

I supposedly upgraded on 18th October, my speed went upto 311mbps then the next day it went back to 150mbps. Why?

What happens if you connect an Ethernet-connected device like a laptop or PC to the port on the ONT in place of your router and do a speed test from there?
