Hi I'm looking to replace my TT router with more advanced router. I was told that GFast used somehow a different protocol, unsure which one tho. Anyone had any success doing this?

@jensen1, the website is designed to show screenshots by clicking on the camera / image icon in the options above.

That will take you to your gallery to select the specific image. It will simply load into the message once selected.

Then click "post" in the usual way for it to show in your thread.

Links are discouraged unless it's very obviously safe.

Hey just noticed that I have settings missing. Can you see yours? There should be more like ''Access Settings''

Your new Zyxel router has modem built in so connect directly into BT socket. So you can disconnect the BT modem box and save it for a trouble shooting day!. If you need to contact TT support they will need the BT modem and a TT router to support you.

Amazing. Last question.

Do I need to connect modem to the Zyxel or do I just plug in zyxel directly into the socket?

I'm on Gfast and use a Zyxel XMG3927 , I can check line stats , I get a constant speed test of 150/30mb -sync rate is 330/60mb , not visable with the bt modem/TT router. They are avilable on ebay , but there are some that are locked to  the Hull area provider, With help from Google can be unlocked and latest firmware loaded.

Hi jensen1

Thanks for your reply.

Are you experiencing issues with this router or are you just looking for a different router?
