Connection keeps dropping

I have Fibre 250 , never had an issue until last week, on an evening the connection drops around 5/6 times not sure about the daytime, I have a PC connected via LAN and everything else via WiFi, all lights indicate everything is fine, the PC comes up with a DNS issue and the tv just says no internet, if i power off and on the internet will come back for around an hour maybe

No ive just realised the WAN/LAN ports on the new router i have ppurchased have a max speed of 100mbs, I need a new router from talktalk

Hi @IAN85 

 

If the connection now remains stable then the speed should start to increase again.

 

If the speed doesn't start to increase in the next couple of days then it would be worth powering down the router for a full 30 minutes.

Hi the Internet connection was terrible kept dropping every half hour, went a bought a new router from PC world yesterday and works fine now but only getting speeds of 90mbs

The connection does seems to have been unstable but seems to have improved over the last few hours. How is it at the moment at your end?
