I am not happy with eero as my fibre router.   When full fibre was installed an eero router was part of the installation, no other option given.    A mobile phone was required for the installation to be commissioned and, not owning a mobile phone, I was required to borrow one for that purpose.

While eero operates fairly well although not as much as the hype would suggest I find the big drawback is being unable to access the router from my PC.    Eero have now informed me that I can only do this on a mobile phone which I find completely unsatisfactory.

Should I have known this at the time I would have rejected eero and required a different compatible router.

Does TalkTalk offer any alternative full fibre router or will I have to find another ISP ?

Can you please update your community profile to include your:

We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.

Thanks

Yes, they do now, but at their discretion - The WiFi Hub 2 (Sagemcom FAST 5464), this is browser managed as most routers, but is only WiFi 5 (802.11ac), not WiFi 6 like the Eero. What speed fibre package are you on?
