Can anyone explain the reason for the difference in speedtest results?
I have full fibre 150.
Eero app speed test shows 151mb/s download speed.
Talktalk speedtest shows 49.9mb/s.
My speed is adequate but why thr difference in results and where are my missing 100.1 Talktalk mb's?

Hi @freelander303 let us know if you still need assistance.

The eero app is reporting the speed test from the gateway eero, via its Ethernet cable to the ONT. Speed tests from a device also include the connection from the device to the eero, which, if over Wi-Fi, can easily be affected by Wi-Fi signal strength/Wi-Fi interference. This can easily account for the slower speed test values. What device are you running this speed test from & how does it connect to the eero, by Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable? How many eeros do you have?

The results shown on the eero are the sync speeds coming in. Speedtests show the connection speed between the eero and the device you are running it on. Have you tried a wired test? Do wireless tests vary much depending on proximity?

Ookla shows 124 which is better. I just wondered why Eero and Talktalk differ.

Hi @freelander303 have you tried a 3rd party speed test like Ookla?
Are you checking using the same device, tablet, phone?
