My current fibre connection ends with a copper wire from the pole to the house. The wire runs from the pole to the haouse and then around the outside of the house to a far wall where it passes into the house quite away from the initial arrival point. Can this route be replicated with the new fibre connection.
The wall at the initial arrival point is directly into a larder cupboard. While this is the distribution point for my mains energy, there is no power point in the cupboard (!). Would an engineer survey be performed prior to installation to assess my options?

Shouldn't be a problem. The team installing mine had to run cable to the side of the house away from where the cable from the pole is connected to the house. You will need 2 sockets or an extension lead to power the ONT and router.

Morning,
When Future Fibre is installed the engineer will ask where you would like the ONT to be located but this will also depend if their are at least 2 power supply points nearby.
Thanks
