Inquiry About Service Transfer and Contract Terms

Hello,

I am planning to move soon and I wanted to apply for a service transfer. However, I heard that if I apply for a service transfer, a new 18-month contract would automatically start. I have been using TalkTalk services for a long time, so I’d like to clarify if a new 18-month contract will indeed begin. If that's the case, could you please let me know how to proceed if I decide to cancel the service? Additionally, I would like to know if it's possible to apply for a Wi-Fi service address transfer without an 18-month contractual obligation.

Thank you!

I think you will find it is a 24 month contract now not 18.

If you are under contract you can, in dome circumstances, transfer your existing contract terms, but a few of £60 is payable in these circumstances.

Once you transfer, normal contract terms apply and if you cancel then normal early cancellation fees apply.

If you wish to discuss specifics, you will need to phone the home move team as each case is different.
