Internet ports blocked by EERO or TalkTalk

I recently upgraded to FF150 and have installed the Eero 6 router. I have followed all the instructions for firewall and port forwarding to allow my Synology NAS to receive backups from another Synology device on a different network.

To avoid any complicating issues while troubleshooting I have reverted to Synology's default ports meaning I need to open and forward ports 5000, 5001 and 6281 to my NAS. I have all the security features turned off on the router and not added anything via the website.

The Eero app shows the config I expect but the ports remain inaccessible from the outside world.

Unfortunately my own router (ASUS RT-AX92U) cannot connect directly (error shown is ISP has misconfigured DNS) so I have no idea if these are being blocked at the network level or by the router.

Any advice on how to make these )or any other ports I choose) accessible.

No problem @Michelle-TalkTalk.

@seangee600 please re-instate all of the security features on your eero that you have disabled, you must be doing something wrong. Assuming that these ports are TCP, not UDP (you do not say), I have forwarded them in my eero & all ports report open in:-

https://portchecker.co/

Is the NAS running in server mode to open these ports (the responsibility of the application of your NAS)? Is there a firewall running on the NAS?

Please can you PM me (to protect your privacy) screenshots of the port forwarding you have used, so that I can check them for you?
