My elderly mum is moving from home with full fibre to sheltered housing. She has had to set up new contract with talk talk and booked Open reach to install full fibre on the day of her move. Can’t find any info. Should I have old router and obvs her phone ready for open reach … leaving her on day of move with no router/phone at old address???

Setting up a Home Move costs £60 unless you set up a new contract, @Angielav1.
Did she use the Home Move team?
If so, she should take her old equipment to the new premises, but if a new router is required it will arrive pretty much on the day, or even with the engineer.
It will depend upon which package she is on, whether the old router would work or not.
If she didn't use the Home Move team, the old contract and service would need to be cancelled specifically, and equipment returned to Talktalk.
So we really need a lot more information.
Have you put her personal information details into the Private Notes section towards the end of Personal Information in your profile area? It must NOT get muddled up or confused with your own.
