Netgem startup

Is there a way to have the box startup quickly when it's switched on? Ours takes a while to power up and then sticks on a screen suggesting what to watch. Would be better if it just went directly to TV channel. Thanks

Thanks for the prompt reply. The Netgem seems to have a fair few problems built in! Shame they didn't listen to testers, typical ... "What do you not like about it?" .... "Hard luck, that's how it's designed!"! ... We're also experiencing a lag in the audio ... but that'll be a other post 🙄

No, there is no way to change this. It's part of the Freeview Play operating system that this box uses.
I think you can dismiss the "what to watch" box by clicking the home button rather than clicking across to no thanks
Btw, I was part of the testing team for the box and the start up time and the pop up box were the 2 least favourite parts of the operating system, but there was no changing it as it was part of the generic Netgem setup.
