New fibre install address

I have ordered  full fibre 150  as an upgrade at contract end .

I asked for the router to be sent to a different address than the installation one as not always there during the day

On my confirmation email it  has the router delivery address as the installation one !

Could someone please check for me

Hi ,

yes your quite correct 

my property has 2 addresses - just to confuse things further!

The 10 one was always used by utilities & is my billing address for TalkTalk The 102 one is the postal one -this now  seems to be used by openreach as well.

I’ll change it over in my private settings

@Martdy The installation address in the private notes is wrong, Im guessing its should read 102 (which is where the install is going to ) not 10.

I've added installation address  to my Private notes

Also rang the number suggested and eventually got it sorted - router dispatching to my chosen address

Installation address also confirmed at the same time

@Martdy, no it wasn't at all clear in the wording of your original post!

 

If this is pending, you need to get this checked promptly.

 

It's been a while since you posted, so I will re-escalate this thread for you. 

 

You are best putting in Private Notes the address for the installation clearly and separately from the address for the router delivery.

 

You find Private Notes at the end of Personal Information. Go via your avatar/name; settings. SAVE CHANGES. 

 

If at all worried about this not being picked up soon enough, call Talktalk during the day to check the details.

Thanks for the reply 

perhaps I wasn’t clear.

The address on the order confirmation listed as the installation address is the address where I asked the router to be sent 

- not the installation address .

Im seldom in at the installation address hence I asked for the router to be sent to my other address.

I don’t want openreach going to the wrong address on install day.

The router is usually dispatched to the service address.  If there is no-one available you will be able to re-schedule the delivery directly with the courier .
