If the router is working ok then I don't think it needs to be replaced, however please give the team a call on 0345 172 0088 and they'll be able to advise.

Short answer is No.
Equipment will only be changed if it's found to be faulty.
Not sure if that will be TalkTalk equipment or replacement Shell equipment.
If it's working there is no need to change it. It would not be cost effective on any company to change equipment that works.
