Hi,

I'm trying to refer a friend via my account, when I click on the link, the page displays but constantly refreshes, I've tried using Edge, Firefox and Google Chrome but still get the same results, also I've tried clearing my cookies.

Well done thanks for the update, and the number.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don't worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.

Hi,

I've managed to get the referral link by contacting TalkTalk directly on 08000491160 - if you go to the link in your account, it still doesn't work but there is now this phone number.

Thanks,

Paul

Yes me too and I've tried several browsers and VPN to no avail. Scripting error one would have to guess.

For what it's worth I just tried it myself: endless refresh with a tantalising glimpse of the page lying behind it, then disappearing etc. etc.

Perhaps @Arne-TalkTalk could point you to someone who can generate one for you, let's see what tomorrow brings.

Thanks @Divsec, I understand what your saying, the only problem is that my friends keep asking me to send them a referral link.

Hi Woody179!

Can you ensure that pop up/ad blockers are disabled.

Hi @Anonymous you would be better off starting your own thread, but the answer should be no.

When you refer a friend does this have to be a new customer to TT or does getting someone to move to FTTP from an old package or FTTC count?

Hi @Divsec

Thanks for the reply, at least I now know the problem was not anything to do with my PC.
