Installed VPN and a message flashed up saying my router password is insecure. Cannot now get onto the webchat. Have tried to change the router password but is telling me username and password on the router are not recognised.
TT will not exchange the router, or send me a deadlock letter.
Have had problems for 2 months now since open reach changed my line to fibre.

Done all that currently on the phone to TT been on an hour already.

Then your only way to get access to it, is to do a factory default of the router's configuration as @Chris-TalkTalk suggested. This can be done by the recessed switch next to the power cable. Have you tried that?

Yes I know the router password is on the router different to the WiFi one. Have tried everything. Thanks anyway

Are you sure that you are using the correct username/password combination? It is not the wireless one, but the router password where the username is admin.
