I have the router hub2 but the router keeps flashing from white to amber, the BT engineer says it should remain solid. We have Internet access but can be unstable on my older mobile but good in hubby. Should it flash amber. We had a new one sent and it does the same, but the original one stays solid blue. Very strange.

OK thanks. Could you switch your router and the ONT off and leave them off for at least 30 minutes, then switch back on and check to see if the router still continues with the same behaviour - please let us know how you get on

We are using all the cables that came with the router and the engineer connected it all to make sure everything was connected correctly.

Hi Chris.
This flashing is constant.
The engineer from Openreach stayed for an hour checking the connection and it was flashing constantly. He said there is an issue with the router. Tech team sent a new one yesterday and it is flashing constantly again.

That's strange, so the connection seems stable but the light flashes white/orange? You say it flashes every 30-60 seconds does it only flash a couple of times and then goes back to solid white/blue?

Thanks. The new wifi hub2 is flashing constantly and this is the 2nd one we have received. We used the original wi fi hub for faster fibre and that stays solid blue/white. When we view the acct and perform a connection test it says Talk Talk does recognize the wifi router.

It flashes when first connecting but should stay solid white/blue once connected to the Internet. Does it flash repeatedly?

Thank you Michelle the connection on other devices is ok. Just mine is an older mobile. The Q is should the router be flashing?
