switch to new wifihub3 or keep using eero when upgrading from fibre 150 to full fibre 500

I'm upgrading to 500 full fibre next week from 150 fibre. When 150 was installed, it came with an eero 'router'. The upgrade includes a wi-fi hub3; do I replace the eero with this new hub or can I leave the eero as is and get the 500 speed through that?

If I replace it with the new hub, will the eero app still work (presuming not if not connected)? Will I lose the eero info on devices, usage etc?

lots of queries, just want to be sure of what I'm doing for next week.

The Wi-Fi Hub 3 is the very latest router and is the only one now supplied, whatever package you are on. However, you can keep using your eero if you want. The WiFi coverage of the Hub 3 is, in my opinion, better than the eero. If you use the Hub 3, there is no point in using the eero app as that only controls an eero network.

If you find that you need extra coverage, you can buy a Sagemcom FAST266 Wi-Fi Booster for the Hub 3. They are available from the Better Value Team (old Legacy Dept) for £30 plus delivery, please call:  0345 1725157.

Opening hours:-
Monday to Friday 9AM to 7PM
Saturday 9AM to 6PM
Sunday Closed

I can provide tech support on all of these products, including the eero as well.
