Afternoon all we are experiencing lots of cracking when making calls from the land line in inward and outward calls, I was wondering if the line could be checked thank you

Just to confirm, have you tested with a different phone at the test socket?
Is the same fault still present?

@Fizza, you will be compensated if there are more than a few days of total loss of service, calculated AFTER it's resolved, and you need to wait 30 days for it to show up in your My Account (or then chase up on the forum, in the billing section).

Hi debbie thanks for your help on this will openreach compensate us for tbis as we cant use the house phone for 2 wks and the broadband has became poor , hope they can rectify this on the 1/11/23

I'm sorry to hear this.
The line tests are clear - No faults detected.
Have you tested with a different phone directly at the test socket? (with the router removed from the line)
