Digital Voice Adapter not working

I have had 150 full fibre installed with VoIp, Internet no bother, VoIp useless!!

The Adapter is just showing 2 blue lights, 1 Power, 2 Internet 3 No Phone.

When I pick up my handset it tells me that The Device Is Not Registered.

Although it's Registered to the Base Unit, can't find an answer as to why or how to Register, Chat keeps checking my Internet connection and eero, BUT!!!

At my wits end with chat, keep getting pushed from 1 Dept to another, nobody can sort this out, is anyone else loosing it over this, I would love your feed back, thinking off calling it a day and moving on, Elsewhere

At long last this has been fixed, I have 1 Account, but apparently 2 plans, now I had to wait until my 150 Data Only had ceased which was on the 20th January,  but it took 65 hours and an engineer's call later to rectify the problem, please don't ask me what, as I left the engineer to sort out, and by the 23rd it all came together, now I have my Internet and VoIp working, I can now make and receive calls on my phone, there was a lot of help and frustration on both sides since the 10th January when it was all supposed to have been set up, But fingers crossed that there are no more hiccups and all stays good, thanks to all 😁👍

Andytru, what you just wrote to me there, use it as your question to the forum and you should get answers from talktalk tech team or someone who has the same problem, I'm hoping mine gets sorted tomorrow or ELSE!!

Cheers 👍

I already had full fibre and decided to go for digital voice with copper dyeing out. I don't have eero so connected to my router, when I lift the phone it tells me the device is registered but I can't make or receive calls, like you only showing power and internet blue lights, I have given up with Talktalk after spending hours taking to them,

Hi Flashworld

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the digital voice adapter.  Have you had a look at the guidance and suggestions from Keith and ferguson?

Thanks

It is not the registration with the base station, but registering the DVA with the TalkTalk VoIP service. Temporarily connect the Grandstream ATA to the ONT directly, missing out the eero. Then reset the Grandstream using a paper clip. Assuming it registers OK (to the TalkTalk VoIP service, not the base station) then reconnect the eero to the ONT & the Grandstream to the spare port on the eero.

It can be a bit fiddly to connect up initially. Have a look at the help page and then make sure you give it up to 15 minutes afterwards to check that all the lights are on.
