Faulty master phone socket

Need help with a faulty master phone socket in side my mums home.
I have reported the problem twice. Both times TT engineer or customer service. I went through all the different stages as requested. But I object when I was asked to open the box to find out the problem and what engineers to send out at a cost of £95.00 .
My mother is 92 years old and needs the phone to work. The line is crackly and my mother is finding hard to hear or have a conversation.
How can I resolve this problem paying for an engineer that might fix or not fix the problem??
Any help much appreciated

Hi Poppy64,
Can you please update your community profile to include your:
- Name
- Telephone number
- Alternative contact number
We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.
Thanks
Chris
