I called to report my landline phone not able to make calls or receive calls. I also mentioned that I have mobility issue because of spine injury. Was told will get sorted asap but still waiting 2 weeks and no visit from engineer to check.

I have contacted talk talk a number of times over the phone and live chat. I keep getting told different things by different people at TalkTalk .

I have been told I will get engineer visit 4 times for them to be cancelled and they don’t even have the decency to call or email to say they will not be visiting,

I have mentioned to them that I have a severe spine injury and that I am house bound and. I rely on my landline for doctor, hospital appointments and visits. I am feeling so distressed as I have not been able to get a straight answer from talk talk.

I raised a complaint and the manager was so rude talking over me and shouting down the phone left me in stress and tears when he hung up.

Would not recommend talk talk to anyone….

Hi Kash2024,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing problems with your service. Line test is passing, could you just confirm that your telephone service still isn't working today? Is the line completely dead, no dial tone?

It's worth taking a look at the accessibility pages @Kash2024, as Talktalk can prioritise fault repairs if you are recorded previously as vulnerable due to injury etc.

I hope you have kept a record of the dates of the engineers not letting you know about not coming.  If they don't show up, you are entitled to compensation.

Also keep a careful note of when you first contacted Talktalk about the loss of service. After it's resolved, they should calculate compensation due - it takes c 30 days to show up.

Staff will be back on here after the weekend, not before, sadly, @Kash2024.
