Could someone plese help me, I am disabled & have a electric alarm service I do not know what will happen if I lose my home telephone !!!

I assume you are worried about the switch to VOIP and fibre.

 

As you are vulnerable I suggest you register as such, if not already done.

 

When your time to switch comes this will be discussed with you and everything will be taken into account.

 

You might also wish to contact your personal alarm company to discuss this as they to will be making provisions for the switch.
