Hi 

Does the ID caller announce option come with the phone I buy or with Talk talk??

You mean "caller identity display"?

 

You have to have a phone with an appropriate display panel on it in the first place, @marialien. It's still possible to buy a retro-styled phone with none designed in.

 

But you ALSO have to tick the correct box in your My Account phone service options to facilitate it.

 

Call 03451 720088 if the facility in My Account is not updating to show it added correctly...... they are open from 9am Monday to Saturday.

If you are talking about Call Safe, you turn it on with TalkTalk then callers will announce themselves before you speak to them. If you accept them this is a one time procedure for that caller and they get straight through next time.

If you mean caller display on your phone, you turn this on via my account.
