Intermittent broadband and landline issues

Camberley area. Landline dead or alarm sounding rather than a dial tone when you pick up the receiver. Receiving multiple calls where the caller I'd just says "call" generally stops after three rings but constantly over last 48 hours throughout the night too. Tried answering and the line goes dead. Broadband constantly dropping out not good when you work from home.  Talk talk says they are trying to resolve and will let me know once fixed but no timeline then they need to do some diagnostic checks. Shocking for 2026 and the technology world we live in!
