I've tried using the Live chat on the website to get help but it doesn't seem to load.

Hopefully someone on the team can help me here.

My phone landline has been experiencing a strange problem where it cannot receive or make calls. I still have a dial tone when I pick up the phone, however when I try to make a call it goes to an automated voice telling me the same message "Sorry your call cannot be completed"

My broadband Internet is fine though and still works. It's just the Phone landline.

Thanks for your time. Hope you can help.

Hi @FLENG

How are you getting on? Did our Fault Escalation Team make contact with you?

Thanks

Hi @FLENG

Thanks for your reply.

Can I just check, did this fault start to happen around 11/07?

I still have a dial tone.

Could the problem be at an exchange somewhere in the network?

Hi @FLENG

Was the router also removed from the line when you tested with the phone at the test socket?

If the same fault is still present with a different phones at the test socket (inbound and outbound call fault) then the next step will be an Openreach engineer visit.

Would you like me to arrange this visit?

Hi @FLENG

I'm sorry to hear this.

The line tests are clear - No faults detected.

Have you tested with a different phone directly at the test socket?
