My line is dead, broadband and phone cut out suddenly. A wired phone into the test socket has no dialtone. The automated talk talk line test say there's no fault?
I work from home. Mobile coverage at home is marginal. What can I do to get this looked into?
Thanks for suggestions!

Hi rilian
Thanks for your reply.
I've booked the first available appointment - 03/04 AM (8am - 1pm)
Will this date and time be ok?
on 28-03-2024 09:08 AM
All day as needed (and any other day - this is critical) but I'd like a bit of warning if possible, and yes I've read your charges page and confirm I'm ok with that. Thanks very much!

Hi rilian
No problem, I can arrange this for you.
Please can you provide your availability AM and PM?
Can you also confirm potential engineer charges

Hi @rilian
The same fault has been detected.
The next step will be an Openreach engineer visit to the property. Would you like me to arrange this for you on the Community?

Thanks - everything removed. It's a very short straight cable run from outside to the master socket (60cm) and the master socket is open and the faceplate removed.
I have a filtered faceplate and a few days ago I thought it had failed. While waiting for a replacement I removed the faceplate and plugged a micro filter into the internal socket which worked great for a couple of days but that failed yesterday. The line has been getting more and more unreliable over the last week or two with a disconnect for a few moments most days... and now it's failed completely.

Hi rilian
I'm sorry to hear this.
The line test is detecting a loop fault and this can often be caused by internal wiring or equipment connected to the line.
Would it be possible to remove everything from the line (phone, router and faceplate) so I can run one more line test in this set up?
