Well try as I might, I just could not get used to the limitations with these routers. Yes, I know they are designed for basic easy set but they do lack features that you need. Never understood why they setup on 192.168.4.* for a start. Had to reset their 'IP' address before I could use my managed switches. Throughput continued to be a little on the low side and my desktop suffered a marked slowness on the internet or network.
Wifi? That for me left a lot to be desired! Certainly caused some lag within my house using echo dots, phone wifi pretty low down in the 50mbps virtually stood next to the Eero. Quite often devices switched by the echo dots were extremely slow to actually happen and sometime not at all.
So, I have switched them out now to a better place - the books shelf holding up my books like bookends 🤣
Gone back (?) to a conventional router with actual aerials. Linksys MR5500v1. This one router covers the whole 4 bedroom house without problems of slowness or drop out. Phone flies along at its max speed.
I suppose the Eero is fine for basic conventional setups which is what the ISP expects, and that is all they are responsible for.

How would you describe a basic conventional setup?
On wi-fi we run a gaming Computer hosting fast paced action games, a Free-sat tv recorder box which records TV and streams Netflix, a Kitchen TV (with no aerial) a desktop PC, laptop and 3 phones, when we are all in and using the wi-fi it never slows or buffers however many of the things in the list are using it my son no longer bothers with Ethernet for the gaming PC as the latency and speeds are fine, speeds are great in every room and we only have the original eero router, i imagine 99% of all customers wouldn't need any more from their set up so is that a basic conventional setup?
If your house is large and it has thick walls you can get boosters which i believe are free from TT have you tried those?
