I can see that Openreach have now closed the fault as resolved.

 

Is everything working ok now?

I'm so sorry to hear this.

 

I can see that this fault has been assigned to Openreach and engineer visit has been arranged for 26/11 PM (1pm - 6pm)

Sorry, we don't know how to test the phone directly at the test socket

We only have until 10:30 on Wednesday to book an engineer appt

I am trying to book an engineer but keep getting this reply:

"We’ve run into a problem. Sorry, we’re working hard to resolve this issue. Please try again later."

We cannot send or receive calls on our Landline, so would be grateful if you could please help. 

My sister died at the weekend and I need to phone lots of family & friends!

The line test is detecting a potential fault. Can I just check, have you tested with the phone directly at the test socket?
