I need to change my landline number as I keep receiving recorded message at least 4//5times a week this has been going on for about 3 months. It is an International Banking company. I am main carer for my husband we are both 82 and this is upsetting, Please help to change our number. Thank you

Or you could consider callsafe.

 

Only numbers you authorise can then get through. 

 

Spam calls do not announce themselves so will never get through.

 

Before I went data only, i didnt het a pam call in over 5 years.

There is no need to change your number. You can always block that number free of charge via the Selective Call Rejection service.

 

To block the last number to call you:
1. After the number you want to block has called you, dial  14258  on your phone
2. Confirm that you want to block the number by dialling #01#
The last number to call you will now be blocked.

 


To block a specific number:
1. Dial  14258
2. Dial the # key then the number followed by the #key
3. The number you’ve entered will now be blocked from calling you
