Cannot receive account access authorisation texts from Google. Message 'there was a problem with your phone number'. Google site says it is something to do with telecoms provider 'blocking short codes'. Cannot find any information within TT. Any ideas as to how to unblock, please?

There is no mobile account showing with us.

I have since found a similar enquiry from last year where support staff confirmed it is not possible to receive texts message as voice message via the TalkTalk home phone network.
As advised if this is a mobile phone issue rather than home phone issue, please follow the link I provided.

If it's a home phone one, please post back as I'm not sure you can receive texts as messages on the home phone.
