Yes, @fr8ys  - not a router issue, as that's usually fine unless we have firmware issues.

Sorry that the mobile end of Talktalk is not able to tick that box for you, @bhayward1. Very frustrating because it is a godsend when it does work and my own mobile signal at home can be appalling without it.

Let's hope that your complaint is constructive and gets a useful result.

I recalled another enquiry we had on the forum, so did a search and found this.

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Mobile/Wifi-Calling-Not-Working/m-p/3095275

Of you look at the last post in this thread you will see that it is a TalkTalk mobile, not router, issue.

So unfortunately @bhayward1 the information you were given is correct in that TalkTalk do not support Wi-Fi calling.

That is interesting, I had no idea that TalkTalk mobile do not support WiFi calling. That help article is generic and is predicated on the mobile network supporting the service. Let us know how you get on with your complaint.

Just bought a new phone and have been setting it up - Galaxy A15 5G - & TT piggy-back  the Voda network. Thought I would check out Wi-Fi calling but couldn't find a way of enabling it (went thru all the menus on the phone). Spoke to the TT Mob customer services and they said I had to ask Voda to enable it. Called Voda Customer Services who said they don't have access to TT accounts and TT have got it wrong - they have to enable (an account tick box, apparently). Called TT Mob again and eventually they said:

"I do understand but as TalkTalk mobile we do not offer Wi-Fi calling, I do apologize for that inconvenience, when it comes to Wi-Fi calling there is nothing TalkTalk can assist you with, not only you but their mobile customers."

Raised a complaint because of the info TT provides on Wi-Fi calling, I told them to:

"Check this - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/About-Wi-Fi-Calling/ta-p/2466099"

Apparently I will be contacted about my complaint!

@bhayward1

Which mobile provider are you with, what make and model of phone do you have and who told you TalkTalk do not support WiFi calling?

Details can be found here.

It can depend on the phone network you use. For example Lebara have only introduced in the last year.

If your phone won't connect it is probably your SIM provider not TalkTalk internet
