You cannot record a channel whilst watching another as the box only has 1 tuner.
If you wish to view a channel whilst recording you will need a separate aerial feed to your TV. To do this you will need to buy a cable splitter and run a cable from this to the box and one to the TV.
These can be purchased on line, supermarkets or local TV store.
