Why do I have to go into I Player to get BBC1?   Other Chanel’s appear immediately but every time I want to watch BBC1 it goes through iPlayer.

This is intended function of the 4k Netgem box when the signal is low.

This occurs on BBC single digit channels. It does not occur on the HD channels and is not a fault.

If you have an HD or HD ready TV I'd recommend using the HD channels from 101 upwards instead of  channel 1 as the picture and sound quality is better and you will be making the best of your TV's capability

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
