Incorrect information when I click information button

Hello. When I click the information button on a series it always goes to the first episode of the programme. The relevant info for the current episode flashes up first then reverts back to first Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @Mickk ,

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this.
 

I can confirm that what you're seeing is due to a recent update from YouView. The behaviour where the series information defaults to Episode 1—even if a different episode is selected—is part of the new layout and isn’t classed as a fault.
 

The brief flash of the correct episode info before it reverts is a known side‑effect of the change, and unfortunately there's no option available to revert it to the previous format.

I understand this may not be ideal.

This is deliberate and follows an update from YouView.

 

Rather than repeat all that has gone before please see this thread.

 

As you will see it is not a fault, and can't be reversed.
