Its all down to licensing of the programmes. They are only licensed for the U.K..

 

You can view in the U.K. in hotels. I do this myself.

Ok - I thought if a hotel had Chromecast on their TV you could link your tablet in some way to watch Now TV or Netflix etc.

No, you can only view in the UK officially.
