New box , no subtitles

Just  had a new tv hub  fitted which came with a new remote, but there does not appear to be a subtitle button on the new remote, tried watching a program from korea which came with subtitles but no subtitles which is impossible to watch, anybody else had this problem please.

You do this for general viewing via the settings menu.

Each app has its own subtitles and may not work with global settings, in which case you need to check the app help for how to turn on subtitles.  Google may help with this.

 

Note though that not all apps have subtitles, and subtitles can vary between devices. For example not all versions of ITVX carry subtitles.
