No power to tv box`

My tv box has suddenly decided to lose power, I have unplugged and plugged back in tried on off button at back. Nothing seems to want to put any power into it. How can I contact talk talk to get a replacement. The website is a bit of a maze to find this option.

Karl, thanks for your reply. I have repeatedly told the team on Whatsap it does not work because it has no power to it for whatever reason. (It just refused to turn on one day, I did nothing to it) and I would like a tv hub if I am paying for it. For some reason they cant seem to work that out.

I am paying the £5 tv hub add on and I would like a new box to replace the one that doesnt work. Thanks.

Hi

 

When talking to the people on chat, if you mention  the box has no power, they think you want them to fix something.  Depending on what you want, either mention you want to have a TV HUB, in which case they will place an order for one.  Any old TV charge will be removed and the new entertainment charge added for the TV HUB, or mention you want the TV Charge removing, and they will do this without sending a TV HUB.

Thanks, I know that. just a shame the talk talk people I been on Whatsap with since 11-00 this morning dont. I just this second 8-30 pm been asked AGAIN whats wrong with the box. Im sure 7/8 different people are picking up the thread.  its just SO frustrating answering the same questions time and time again. Taking so long for someone just to understand its not working because there is no power getting to it for whatever reason.

You can't get a replacement YouView box, but if you are paying the £5 TV fee then you should have got a TV Hub, much as Karl advised earlier.

I checked my account and probably stupidly signed up to another contract. They are charging me £5 for the TV hub which I dont have. My youview box has no power to it.

I have been on Whatsap since 11-00 this morning backwards and forwards trying to get someone to understand its not working. I cant explain it any better. They had me checking power, turn on/off etc etc. Twice they asked me which set box I have. It just doesnt have any power. I either need a new box or cancel my subscription to it. Calling customer services just sends you though an automated system and ends up with a text message back to yourself.  Its like a nightmare actually trying to get some sense. Im not sure what else I can say. There is no power to my box, therefore its NOT working.

Hi

 

TalkTalk no longer provide these models.  They stopped providing these about 4 years ago/

 

You can upgrade to the TV HUB by calling our teams directly.  There is an additional cost of £5 per month for this.

 

Alternatively if you have a Smart TV, this can receive all the usual online content such as Iplayer, Netflix or NOW TV etc.
