When watching a programme on demand it keeps cutting out and saying retry later. Why does this keep happening?

Which box do you have?
Is it all on demand apps or only selective ones?
How is your box connected? Wired, wired via power line plugs or WiFi?
Have you tried rebooting your router?
Have you tried resetting the TV box?
What else may you have tried?
