TalkTalk 4k TV box failing

A few weeks ago, I noticed that my TV box had lost most of its channels. The only way I could fix it was by performing a factory reset, which temporarily resolved the issue. However, in the past week, this has happened five more times, leading me to believe the box is failing.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone have a solution?

Hi SteveElmo
If you connect your aerial direct to the TV, can you check the channels for any breakup, distortion or weakness. This will verify if there are any issues from your local transmitter.
Thanks
Karl.

Unfortunately it seems to be happening to a number of boxes recently.
The channels are only missing from the guide, so if you type one of the missing channel numbers in using the remote it should tune in.
It seems to be the single digit numbers like 1 and 2 that go missing, their equivalent HD channels 101 and 102 are normally there. The added benefit of using these channels is, if you have an HD or 4k TV, that the quality is greatly improved.
Staff are back on Monday and may have a solution they can offer as you have performed numerous resets (and here I'm assuming the reset you did was using the button on the left hand side, and pressing this 5 times until the box restarted).
