Real-time TV streaming on TV Hub

I have just upgraded to full-fibre and added TV Hub so I could watch terrestrial channels (my aerial blew down in a storm and I'm hoping not to have to pay to put it up again). However, ITVX is not showing at all on the menu and All4 only offers historical content not real time. I've applied all firmware and app updates. Box model number is UZW4054TTG. Is this expected behaviour with no Freeview signal? If so, why don't TalkTalk "experts" know about it? I have spent over 2 hours on the phone to them trying to get this fixed!

Just a thought, but have you looked at buying a Freely TV? Probably similar price to the aerial, but you'd same £5 a month on the TV hub if you sent this back and get live tv and the catch up apps.

Alternatively a Firestick from Amazon will give you the catchup apps which I believe have the live channels you seek.

If you want to return the hub and chose one of the above yiu will need to phone the loyalty team to arrange the return and for them to remove the TV charge from your account.

You could set up in someone else's home and it should then pull ITVX into play, but if you ever need to reset it will disappear again.

You need an aerial to set up ITVX as it uses the signal to select the region.

Not all apps have live channels and can differ between different devices.

ITV is a case in point. Some devices have live channels others do not.
