I have the TT Netgem N7950 recordable TV box.
I use the recording facility frequently especially where the program that I want to watch is not available on catch up. Is there a setting that I can change that determines the start time for a recording? Every time I watch a recording the first few minutes of the program are missing.

You can of course factory reset the box to start wit a clean setup, but ultimately the recording start and end time rely on a signal from the individual broadcaster. I've seen this before across different devices and suppliers, so it is rarely an issue with the box itself.

Manual time recordings can not be set. Timed recordings rely on a signal from the broadcast channel to trigger the recording start and end.
