Sending old box back

Hi everyone I was told on a talktalk chat that I didn’t have to send my old box back as I mentioned I had a lot of good recordings on it so the staff member I was talking to said to move between the two but when I opened my new box, it says to send old tv box and wires back. Can someone clarify what I need to do as don’t really want to send it back as still want access to some old recordings on it.

You do not have to return the old TV Box.

Did you keep a copy of the Chat, @Wowfornewtvhub?

 

The request to send back the old box is probably standard practice, but it will help if you have a record of the conversation that said otherwise. 

 

Staff won't be back on here before the 27th.

 

Helpful if you complete your community forum profile details for them to identify your account.
