My netgem box has suddenly lost all it's TV channels. I have tried rescanning and it still finds 0 channels. When i press the home button on the remote, I get channel 831 and some other random channels I have never seen before but none of the usual channels. Any suggestions?

Hi Alan,

Have you connected the aerial direct to your TV to check the channel reception ?

Karl.

It sounds like your aerial has either become detached from the box or has failed.

the channels you are getting are the bonus talkalk ones delivered via the internet.

check the aerial connection to the box and rescan. If still nothing, then remove the cable and plug directly to the TV. Do you get channels on the TV? If no, then the aerial has failed and you will need to consult a local engineer to fix.

if yes, then try resetting the box. To do this press the button on the side 5 times. This will restart the box. Please note you will lose any recordings if you use a usb stick as the box will register as a new box.

hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.
