Youview box (Huawei, DN306T) keeps disconnecting and flicking between channels and reverting to a channel labelled DTV air (no idea what that means). I'm also getting the message "Check signal cable". It's doing this every 30 seconds or so. I've tried turning everything off and on again, and I've checked the cables are connected but it continues to act crazy. The internet connection is fine and I've checked for the latest software. I'm wondering if there is a problem with the box itself.

Thanks. I've tried connecting the box to a spare (though very small) TV. So far it's OK, but I'm half expecting it to happen again. I'll see how it goes over the weekend. If it goes crazy again I'll contact TalkTalk about getting a new box. Otherwise, it may mean I need a new TV.

If the factory reset didnt work, and youd like a replacement, you will need to phone and request one.
This box is no longer available and the replacement would be the TV hub.
You will probably have to recontract as these boxes are now rented.
If you decide to fund your own replacement and you currently pay the TV charge, then you would still need to phone to get this charge removed from your account.

Thanks for responding and thanks for your advice. Unfortunately, the problem persists. Unsure what to try next.

What happens if you plug the aerial directly into the TV?
Are all channels stable on there?
If so then try a factory reset from the settings menu. Click the home button on the remote then navigate up to the cog snd then select factory reset.
If you have not changed your pin the default is normally 1234 or 0000.
You will have to sign back into any catchup apps that you use.
Hope this resolves this and let us know how you get on.
