I have a Samsung Smart tv with its own hub. Do I connect my talktalk tv hub to my Samsung hub using the hdmi cable?

The hdmi input ports are all on the one connect Samsung tv hub. They are marked as follows :-

port 1 (STB)

port 2 (PC/DVD)

port 3 unmarked

port 4 (ARC)

I connected the Talktalk TV hub to port 1

During the pairing process the TV told me the Talktalk hub was not recognised, it would not accept the model number I inputted.

Did you Try connecting the TV HUB to your samsung Hub or a direct connection ?

You can try, otherwise connect it directly to an HDMI port on the TV directly if it has one spare.
