Cannot register an account - going round in circles

So had an account with TalkTalk four years ago so when I signed up again they said I needed to create a new email address which I did.  Now when I try to register for My Account with new email address is says already registered and then tries to log me in on the old email address, tried LIVE chat but just got an annoying BOT.

 

Anyone experienced this or knows how to get around it?  It actually lets me in the old account which obviously has a completely different account number and is of no help whatsoever.

There was an old account, that was registered, I have removed it, can you try to register again.

Someone else had a similar problem recently and it took quite a while to resolve, @samjam72.

 

I'll move this to the billing section for attention. 

 

Make sure that you have added your Talktalk landline number  / account number in Personal Information in your profile area. SAVE CHANGES.
