Cant cancel contract

Hello 

I've been with talk talk for 18 months, had no issue with the service but now I'm moving out of the house I've sold, and will be living with family for a few months, so would then return to talk talk for the service, my contract ended a few weeks ago, so I'm just trying to give 30 days notice, I've tried today twice, both times CS said their system is down and they're unable to complete the request to give notice, I was promised a call back but this never happened, I've done a quick search on trust pilot and this seems to be a common trick that ends up playing out for months, are talk talk really happy to annoy customers who never had a problem into never using them again ? I find this really really distasteful, can anyone on here help with this issue ?

Add your forwarding address to Private Notes, @razzy26uk, if you need a returns bag. 

 

CS often just send the bag to the old address. If that seems to happen, post back here for staff to order the bag for your new address. It will come with a prepaid label. 

 

Private Notes is at the end of Personal Information, accessed via your avatar/name; settings. As usual, SAVE CHANGES.

Thank you Arne, how would I go about returning the modem once this time elapses ? I've updated CS with my forwarding address, I dont mind packing it up myself if I can get a returns label or address to send 🙂

Seems all your posts were being auto marked as spam, Ive found them and cant see why, will flag it to the community manager.  

 

In relation to the cancel request it has failed, so I will request the cease to be placed again.

I hope Arne will check her messages in this instance, i literally cannot reply in full about my problem without the post dissapearing once I've refreshed, am lodging a c o m p l a i n t tomorrow , I've never had an experience like this from a legitimate company

Had it all set to cancel, then I get texts from them telling me to call a number that auto hangs up, then my account no longer shows as pending cancellation, I'm stuck

Every time the post has turned purple, when I refresh the post dissapears,I'm guessing there's a word that's causing it which I tried to remove

Try again on here, @razzy26uk, as your last message posted fine.

 

Make sure the blue button changes to pinkish/purple to ensure the post shows. 

 

Staff usually do not respond to unsolicited PMs, as they would otherwise get inundated. It also defeats the purpose of the forum, as other customers are unable to follow the progress of the issue.

 

PMs to staff are really only for form filling information requested by staff.

Customer services line for cancellations is available until 7:00pm tonight and between 9:00am and 6:00 pm on Saturday.
