Hello

hope you can help . I’ve been advised to drop a note on here so hopefully you will be able to help .

I have raised a discussion topic about not getting internet in hot weather . This has been a persistent problem over 2 years . We have had engineers out but always the line is fine within the house . The issue is that internet will go off from midday -7pm when it’s hot weather .

I have been an advised you are able to look back to when these issues happen and look at reimbursement. We have been talk talk customers for years and I’m upset we are paying an excess for our internet and not receiving  quality service.

please can someone have a look at the history of my calls and advise how to process any monies owed.

many thanks

Once a problem is resolved, @Rose66#, automatic compensation is given, but that is for complete loss of service for several days, as you will see in this article:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/About-your-auto-compensation-credit/ta-p/2326583

It sounds as though your loss of internet was sporadic, or for chunks of time but not complete days. A nuisance, but not ticking the box for automatic compensation.

Anything awarded would therefore be discretionary. Staff will be back on here after the weekend.

NB: In the other thread staff do mention waiting until the issue had been resolved. For reference:
