Conflicting information ex shell customer

After being threatened with extra charges because of TT's failure to collect my DD last month I have now received a text saying I have to pay before 13th by other means. I was told in TT chat last week that the money would collected today by DD.  After last week's DD debacle I have no confidence in TT's accounting and am wary of paying separately as it seems probable they'll take the money anyway so I'll end up paying twice and then it'll take hours trying to sort that out

Hi itsstewart

 

There is a know issue with Direct debits at the moment for ex shell customers .I would recommend making a one off payment this month, once the balance is clear we cant request another payment. 

 

Appreciate its not ideal, we can only apologize for this inconvenience.
