My contract is due to expire early Jan 2025. I have tried "Chat" twice and told there is a problem with my account and until it is sorted my contract cannot be accessed, all my account renewal shows is Fibre 65 with a free security camera and added security which I do not want at a price far higher than I pay now.
I called the help team to-day and again told I have an account issue and while a price for 24 month contract for Fibre 65 and Unlimited UK calls was offered at an acceptable price I was told this could not be actioned until the account is sorted and I would be sent an e-mail offer when available.
I have been a TalkTalk customer for over 25 years when it was originally Tiscali with no account issues and never had a problem at contract renewal time.
What is going on, am I being stalled for some reason. As a pensioner all I want is peace of mind that my contract will roll over at the price offered to-day.
Has the time come to switch to another provider?

They can look into what's going on with My Account and hopefully clear it up so that you can then get a deal set up.
