I’ve been charged £75 for a missed engineer appointment which was booked for 06/12. As I’m nominated user for the 90 year old account holder I requested an earlier appointment, which was arranged for 03/12 but could not be completed as the engineer needed a hoist! A hoist was arranged for 06/12 and a fix was carried out over 06/12 & 07/12. The original appointment for 06/12 was not cancelled by Talk Talk and now they want £75 as it’s classed as a missed appointment. I’ve spent 6 hours on live chat (booted off several times) trying to dispute this! What does it take to speak to someone? 6 hours is unacceptable! Any one had similar with a successful outcome?
I think I’m flagged as a troublesome so they clear me off the chat asap!!

Profile completed as best I can. Grateful for any support you can provide. Live chat has been extremely poor. A widowed 90 year old landed with a £75 charge for a missed engineer appointment….. she can get to the front door but that’s it, she’s not off out on the town!
